  • Individual Psychotherapy (18+ only): $200 per 1 hour session

My hourly rate is $200. In certain circumstances, you may qualify for a reduced fee. Payment for therapy is due at the beginning of each session. A credit card is required to schedule telehealth sessions. Payment is accepted through your client portal.

  • My private practice is exclusively virtual. All therapy sessions are conducted via telehealth on Simple Practice, a HIPAA compliant platform. I am licensed in the State of California, and only work with California residents.

  • I do not accept insurance. Payment for therapy is due at the beginning of each session.

Because I do not accept insurance, I am considered an out-of-network provider. I will provide you with a monthly invoice (i.e. superbill), which you can submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please consult with your insurance provider ahead of time to see what reimbursement they offer for out-of-network services.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

    • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

    • You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

    • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

    • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

  • If you are unable to make your appointment, please remember to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or “no show” your session, you will be charged the full session fee for the canceled or missed session. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. If you have not arrived within the first 15 minutes of your session, the session may be canceled. Sessions that begin late will generally end at their scheduled times due to previously booked appointments in my calendar. Additionally, two consecutive missed appointments will result in the termination of treatment.

  • All information you share with me, and even the fact that you have come to see me for services, is confidential and will not be shared without your prior written permission. However, the law in the State of California requires that information be released without your prior consent when the following conditions exist:

    • If you present an imminent threat of harm to yourself or others.

    • When there is an indication of abuse of a child, dependent adult, or elderly adult.

    • If you become gravely disabled.

    • If information is required by a court subpoena or court order.

  • Under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), you have certain rights regarding the use and disclosure of your protected health information (PHI). HIPAA is a federal law that provides privacy protections and patient rights with regard to the use and disclosure of your PHI. You can read my HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices below.
